This property, formally known as Impossibles, (for obvious reasons when it comes to construction) presented the team with some very interesting challenges demanding every inch of their tenacity and ingenuity. Idyllically perched amidst crashing surf, at the bottom of 75 steep steps hewn into the Uluwatu cliffs, a cunning system of pullies and pipes needed to be implemented to get materials on and debris off-site.
The location of this extraordinary villa may have made the renovation and rebuild more complex but it’s also the feature that makes it a one in a million experience for guests and the team alike. A full restoration was commissioned including the construction of terraces and balconies for each bedroom to optimise the exquisite panorama of the Indian Ocean.
Watching this Bali renovation take place and the overall vision come together was inspiring for both the client and the building team.
